WINTER RETREAT
In the SPIRIT of progress and innovation, BBTS hosts an ANNUAL retreat. The event prescribes the opportunity to relax unwind and re calibrate our minds. We spend a full weekend of relaxation, playtime and fun. In addition, we also spend quality time focusing on the remainder of the academic year and planning for our signature event.. Black Transfer Extravaganza.. As BLACK TRANSFERS, we WORK HARD and PLAY HARDER..

FOOTBALL TAIlGATE
BBTS and the Community Programs Office annually, co-sponsor a football game The Rose Bowl. This event focused on connecting and networking with other communities of color, while enjoying Bruin FOOTBALL.. We partake in all the amenities offered by CPO and we bring a few treats of our own. We always enjoy a good game.. [win or lose] free food, refreshments AND the #TURNUP is ALWAYS Real. We hope you'll have a fantastic time hanging with us... #GO BRUINS!!! |
WELCOME EVENT
BBTS hosts our Annual Transfer Welcome. We aimed to present our incoming Black Transfer Students with the opportunity to 'Mix and Mingle' with faculty, staff, alumni, continuing transfers and members from the UCLA community at large. Our goal was to introduce students to the resources and services available but facilitating a space, in which, to address transfer concerns and issues while enjoying a delicious Soul Food dinner. |

BBTS hosts our annual TSP/FSP community introduction in the De Neve-Holly Dorms. BBTS as a community, take the the unprecedented opportunity to welcome our incoming Black Transfers before the beginning of the Fall quarter. We take pride in our originality in providing an opportunity for students to 'de-stress' and relax in the midst of Finals Week.
